- Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission (UPPAC)
Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission (UPPAC) is a committee of nine educators and two community members charged with maintaining and promoting a high standard of professional conduct and ethics among Utah teachers. It is advisory to the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) in making recommendations regarding educator licensing and may take appropriate disciplinary action regarding educator misconduct.

- Explicit Instruction: Explicit instruction is systematic, direct, engaging, and success oriented—and has been shown to promote achievement for all students. This highly practical and accessible resource gives special and general education teachers the tools to implement explicit instruction in any grade level or content area.
- Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports: The Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports is established by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) to define, develop, implement, and evaluate a multi-tiered approach to Technical Assistance that improves the capacity of states, districts and schools to establish, scale-up and sustain the PBIS framework. Emphasis is given to the impact of implementing PBIS on the social, emotional and academic outcomes for students with disabilities.
- Autism Council of Utah: The Autism Council of Utah (ACU) is an independent council working to foster collaboration, communication, and learning among families and agencies. Our aim is to promote access to resources and responsible information for individuals of all ages who have, or are affected by autism, or related conditions. The Council will accomplish this by supporting statewide partnerships to collaborate on special projects, research, and training.
- Utah Center for Assistive Technology (UCAT): The Utah Center for Assistive Technology (UCAT) is a statewide resource offering information and technical services to help people with disabilities acquire and use assistive technology devices. UCAT offers free evaluations to anyone within the state of Utah.
- Special Education Resources for General Educators: This project, funded through a grant from the Metlife Foundation, uses these standards to further articulate the information and activities that general classroom educators need to address the needs of students with disabilities in the regular classroom and the connects general classroom teachers with many of the excellent resources available for classroom teachers from governmental and non-profit resources.
- The IEP Cycle: The General Educator's Role: The general educator's role in the IEP process is an extremely important one from beginning to end. This site will help walk through the process and explain the general educator's role.
